Our fleet of four wheel drive buses are also of the highest standard.

Our pilots are Gold Coast’s most experienced, holding Gold Coast’s only commercial pilot instructor licenses issued by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority. During the flight they are in constant radio contact with our fully trained ground crew who are there to greet us at our designated landing site. Our chief pilot was twice Australian National Champion and the 1983/84 World Champion, the only Australian pilot to ever receive such an award.

Safety is our first consideration, and we will not fly if conditions are unsuitable. If inclement weather prevents you from flying, you can simply rebook for another day or receive a full refund. No shows on the morning cannot be refunded or rebooked. Bookings will only be altered within 48 hours of the flight at the sole discretion of Balloon Aloft.

MEETING & PICK UP ARRANGEMENTS FOR YOUR HOT AIR BALLOONING EXPERIENCE

Our meeting time varies according to the season but generally 30 minutes before sunrise. A complimentary pick up and return service is available for our clients staying in most local hotels and apartments. Your pick up time will be advised at the time you make your booking.

WHAT TO BRING AND WEAR FOR HOT AIR BALLOONING

We recommend comfortable casual clothes and a hat when you enjoy hot air balloon rides. Fully enclosed footwear is essential, no high heels, thongs or open sandals are allowed. It is no colder in the baloon than it is on the ground. And don’t forget to bring your camera and plenty of film. (Cameras are welcome, but carried entirely at owners risk).
